How To Change Displayed Author’s Name Without Changing Google+ Profile

How To Change Displayed Author’s Name Without Changing Google+ ProfileOnce you’ve merged your Google+ account with that of your Blogger account, Blogger will use the displayed name on your Google+ account as the author’s name on your posts. But what if you’d like to display a different name as the author of your posts (like your nickname or your pseudonym)?

The simplest way to do it is to edit the displayed name in your Google+ profile, but there’s just one catch, all of your blogs that are attached to that will have their author’s name change. So what if you only to change the author’s name in one of your blogs?
The trick is simpler than you might think. Follow the steps below but before you begin I suggest you make a backup copy of your template first.
1. From your Blogger dashboard, go to Template then Edit HTML.
2. Put a check on the Expand Widget Templates box.
3. Using Ctrl+F, search for <data:post.author/> and simply replace it with your preferred author’s name (ex. Mike, Timothy R., etc.).
(NOTE: You should be able to find four instances of this if you’re using Blogger’s template, it might be different if you’re using a custom template).
4. Save your template and that’s it!
If you need help on editing your display name via your Google profile, you go to Google’s support page.
